Christmas Lessons and Carols
Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM for a festive service of Christmas Lessons and Carols with Holy Eucharist.
January 7th is the celebration of the baptism of our Lord and is an opportune time for baptism at Immanuel. If you are interested in being baptized please reach out to the Rev. Chris Miller at email@example.com.
Annual Parish Meeting
On Sunday, January 14th we will have our annual parish meeting after our 10:00 AM worship service. At the meeting we will elect three new vestry members, a Cherub School representative, and three new members of the Immanuel Old Church Foundation. All adult communicants in good standing registered at Immanuel are entitled to vote at the election. Please join us for this important annual event in the life of the parish.
Thanks to all who made and delivered meals to John Kreynus during Christmas week. He was very appreciative as was his family. Immanuel's giving spirit was in place during a special time in the church year.
Adult formation will resume on Dec. 31 with a "Book of Common Prayer Scavenger Hunt". Come and find out how much you know (or don't know) about our Prayer Book. We will begin a study, "An Overview of the Book of Common Prayer" on Jan. 7. Please join us in the library after refreshments. For more info about the class, contact Joan Beal.
Godly Play will not meet on 12/31. We will resume with our regular schedule on 1/7. Godly Play meets on the first, third, and fifth Sundays of each month. Godly Play is a curriculum designed to help children explore faith through stories. Godly Play is open to 3 year olds up to 5th graders.
