Ordination of Gail Goldsmith

A "beloved child of our parish," Gail Goldsmith, will be ordained to the Transitional Diaconate on Saturday, June 9th at Epiphany, Herndon. Please keep Gail in your prayers on June 9th as the bishop lays hands on her and ordains her a Deacon in the Church.

Parish House Renovation Project Update

Next week we will begin more thorough work on the building. You can expect that the main reception area of the Parish House will have limited access during most of June and July. We will guarantee access to restrooms every Sunday. If you have questions, please speak with Pat Cowling, Warren Rice, or the Rev. Chris Miller.

Spring Adult Formation Class

After refreshments on Sunday, May 27 we will hold our last Adult Formation class of the program year. We will explore various New Testament passages which can lend insights for living as Christians in the present day.  We began in Acts and will end in Revelation, hearing what Paul, the writer of Hebrews, and John have to say about following in the footsteps of Jesus. No preparation is required; each class is a stand-alone lesson, so you are welcome to join in!  For more info about the class, contact Joan Beal.

We have a nursery available every Sunday during our 10 AM service. The nursery is located inside the Parish House building, next to the church.

During the summer months, please feel free to show up to church early on Sunday morning, find a robe, and hop in the procession with the choir. We welcome all levels of singing ability to join the Immanuel Choir.
