Please consider how you might help donate your time with these important ministries.
Throughout the year, through the efforts of the Food, Clothing and Shelter Committee, we donate food, school supplies and Christmas gifts to the Cornerstone Development Center, located at St. David's Episcopal Church in Aylett. Other outreach efforts include cooking and delivering meals for the Men's Shelter and CARITAS, a homeless shelter program, and assisting Hanover Habitat for Humanity with construction projects and fundraisers, such as collecting aluminum cans for recycling. Cans can be dropped off at the parish house throughout the year.
Parishioners also send school supplies to the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, and contribute to Episcopal Relief and Development, United Thank Offering and a local domestic violence safe house. Internationally, our members have been involved with mission trips to Haiti and Honduras.
Bring canned food items throughout the year for the food bank at the CornerStone Development Center in Aylett. Any boxed or canned food item is appreciated. Baskets for the collection of food items are located in the vestibule of the church.
We support Habitat For Humanity by collecting aluminum cans which are recycled and provide funds for building houses. We have participated with Hanover Habitat in building homes.
